The movie itself was grandiose and fun, big escapism. Ken Marshall seemed heroic but out of place amongst all the English types. Ahhhh, Freddie Jones, a favorite. Plus that schoolteacher guy from the original Willy Wonka was a treat as the incompetent magician. The video game was so difficult it made you hate. HATE! Unrepentant quarter eater. The other side of my memories is the "dub" version made by a certain special stoob you know. Basically alternate dialog and music lovingly shlepped on top of the original for comedic effect. You'll have to ask Sam about it. I’ve got twin memories of this movie.
